Welcome to Washington Elementary School, home of the Eagles!

Built in 1916, and located in the heart of Woodburn, OR, Washington Elementary is home to just under 450 students in grades kinder-5th.

We thrive on our collective diversity, with multiple cultures and languages coming together as one school community.

Every child at Washington learns two languages, English and Spanish, in our dual language program.

In our model, both English learners and English proficient students learn side by side in the same classroom to promote bilingualism, bi-literacy and multiculturalism. Students will be able to speak, read and write in two languages. Two languages are used for instruction using a 90/10 model.
